Grandmother's House

This recent work concerns my memories of my grandparent's home, which is now abandoned.  Once a source of joy, the house is now decaying, fading,  and fracturing into pieces.  As the space contained in the house's walls deteriorates into a dispiriting tone of hopelessness, the memories contained in my head follow.  The house is now becoming a source of melancholy feelings, which can be translated, processed, and clarified through the artistic process.
